To the A. O. U. W. Lodge and kind friends for assistance and beautiful floral offerings in our bereavement we extend heartfelt thanks. Frank Manley learned of a 94 pound boy born Tuesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Manley will raise him until age 21. Grandpa Whitney’s feelings are indescribable.
Axtell Kansas resident Chas Cornell, his mother, and sister visited Sunday and Monday at the Minkler home. A farewell party for Bert James, who left for Fort Riley, was held Saturday near town with about 60 guests. Bert married Miss Kling of Washington on the 10th.
