Nutter Bros. Rodeo Announces Midwest Tour Plans
Nutter Bros. mounted a rodeo and bronco busting show at Morrowville Kansas on a Saturday afternoon and expect to close the season with a barbecue and wild west performance at Albia Kansas around October 1. They aim to form a full wild west company for spring travel through the south and east states with rodeo feats steer taming and displays of western daring. The Albia date is listed as October second.

Unnamed blaze destroys Davis Adee home in morning fire
A fire of unknown origin completely destroyed the residence of S. B. Davis and owned by H. H. Adee Tuesday morning. The Davises had moved many belongings to the warmer lower floor. Mrs. Davis found smoke in a upstairs room and despite bucket efforts, the fire spread beyond control. Mr. Davis returned from the sand pit with help from neighbors, saving some furniture and fruit, but the upper rooms and stairway were lost.

Sunday School Hikes With Emil Harris Near Town
The Boya Sunday School class, about ten boys, plus teacher Emil Harris, hiked into the woods southwest of town Saturday night. They walked two miles through pasture and field to a creek bottom with a high bank that served as a camp site. They built a fire and cooked man-size hot dogs and praised the outing.
