Meeting of the W C T U at Mrs Forsha’s home

The Women’s Christian temperance meeting at Mrs Forsha’s home elected officers: President Mrs Shultz Vice President Mrs Forsha Secretary Mr Davis Treasurer Mrs Wilcox. A new member joined the group and refreshments were enjoyed. The gathering planned a future convention and noted a maternity nurse experience in Nebr.

Steele City School Fair Exhibit Sent to Fairbury

An exhibit from Steele City School was taken to Fairbury on Saturday. It reflects last year’s work across all classes and aims to show classroom activity over the year rather than separate showcase pieces. The display anticipates prizes across categories.

Reynolds Fall Festival Gains Local Popularity

An overflow crowd enjoyed a week of varied entertainment during Reynolds Fall Festival and Home Coming Week. Good shows races and amusements drew daily crowds amid ideal weather. S. B. Newmeyer joins the Reynolds Signal advertising department and urges local businesses to place ads. A picture show is planned at the opera house on Saturday night, Sept 27. State Line Lutheran Church German Services and English Alternating

State Line Lutheran Church holds regular German services each Sunday at 10 30 a m with Sunday School one hour earlier. English services occur every other Sunday evening. Next English service is scheduled for Sept 78. Rev W Lobelen is the pastor.
