Nebraska farmers expect very satisfactory yields across the state with reports of higher production than four years ago. Prices for farm products including animals and grain are expected to stay satisfactory under ongoing European war conditions.
Frank L. Rain was re appointed to the Elks judiciary committee a two member body. The honor is notable as only five exist and only one can be from a state. The grand lodge meeting will be in Los Angeles where Rain will attend.
A humorous rewrite of Psalm style verses about a Ford car. The speaker laments debt and mechanical woes, fearing axle trouble and radiator bursts while keeping faith in the car's steadfast, if costly, presence.
The annual Organized Agriculture gatherings occur in January each year with record attendance at Lincoln and over twenty organizations participating. Martin Justis of Minden spent a few days with relatives early week. Mr and Mrs Joe Cropper of Morrowville called on Rob ert Heble Sunday. Mr Gastini of Hanover visited days with his brother in law Ed Justis. Miss Bernite Haverty visiting with friesis Miss Mary Bren neis threed week.
