In Judge Mayers division of the circuit court C. L. Fowler sixty six? seventy six years old was granted a divorce from Lucinda V. Fowler whom he wed in Fairfield Iowa forty five years ago. Frank Freytag postmaster of St Joseph testified he had known Fowler for over twenty five years and called him a Civil War veteran and drum major.
