National Egg Week Marks Nebraska Campaigns May Week
National Egg Week will be observed during the week of May through 7 announced by the Agricultural Bureau of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the National Poultry Council and Nebraska colleges. Lincoln and Omaha will run egg campaigns to educate the public on healthful eggs and many cookery methods. Nebraska ships about 15 million dollars of eggs annually to eastern cities and aims to expand consumption to benefit farmers and distributors alike. Presbyterian Church notes follow with Sunday services and elections of officers, including new church officers and Sunday School leadership, plus thanks for the annual canvass and cooperation by the W C T U.
