Herbert Bar ber, 14, son of Mr and Mrs Charles Bar ber of the northeast area, was kicked in the face by a horse in a nearby feed lot last Thursday. He lost all upper front teeth, had facial bones broken, fainted twice and is under medical care with uncertain prognosis.
Miss Maude Slaughter of En dicott visited Tuesday for a social at Rev. and Mrs. Shepard. Miss Myrtle Kelley is home ill with tonsillitis. Geo. Bloom has been helping in Clark's store in her place.
Notice states city election at Steele City Hall on April 2 1912 to elect three trustees for three years. Polls open from 8 00 a.m. to 6 p.m. H E Capp serves as Chairman and H B Rucker as Clerk.
Charles Eugene Price born June 17 1849 in Highland Co Ohio dies March 11 1912 at his son Clarence home in Jefferson Co after ten years residence there He married Marquarette Cavens June 6 1868 at Guntanell Iowa They left five sons and three daughters John Kan George Wash Kan Frank Steele City Clarence Edicott Mrs Griffing Edicott and Mrs Wm Bower Fairbury One son Arthur and a daughter Emma died in childhood Mrs Price preceded him Apr 4 in the afterlife.
