Irman Outhier spent Sunday with home folks while Doc Davis moved to Mrs Lenker's home. Joe Outhier visited from Hastings. Ladies' Aid plans a March 15 election of officers with large turnout. Various visits, moves, and social events unfold. Masonic lodge, church announcements, and a new baseball team organized by Modern Woodmen are noted along with community concerns and trade updates.
The district lays out election dates and roles for March and April 1925. Judes and clerks named for election on April 7. Nomination meeting set for March 14 to select candidates for the board of education to succeed Allen T. Phelps. Voters urged to participate.
A 1000 gift to a Presbyterian college funded an endowment for the annual income to aid a chosen student training for missionary service. The donor has long since passed. over 20 missionaries have benefited over the years, with further support continuing through her generosity.
Mrs Pearl Stanton of Derby Kansas died March t 1923 at local hospitals aged 60 She was born in Peeniuseh Nebraska and was married to Rev Albert Stanton She was a member of the Methodist Church and Royal Neighbors at Yuma Also survived by four sisters and two brothers Funeral services were held in Derby with burial in Derby Cemetery A community announcement invites local youth to join the Endeavor groups for upcoming meetings
