Reward Offered for Hog Thieves in Fairbury Nebraska

A $500 reward is posted by Sheriff F. M. Tippin of Fairbury Nebraska for the arrest and conviction of the thief or thieves who stole four hogs from A. H. Gretzinger on the cited night. Informants must come in by midnight May 1 1927 via wire or letter.

Pfautz leads Sunday School at 10 A M and church services at 11 A M with evening worship at 7 30 P M The Christian Endeavor group meets at 7 P M followed by choir rehearsal Also notes church move lumber transport Monday Pfautz attends Crete on church business and thanks volunteers for the new site support The concert Sunday evening drew a large crowd and was well received by all attendees.

Four Hogs Stolen From Gretzinger Farm Saturday Night

Thieves took four large hogs from A H Gretzinger farm during the night of February 26. A truck backed into the pen and hogs were loaded possibly after masking or gas. A $500 reward was raised by local business people, farmers, and citizens for capture of those involved. Poultry losses have also been reported, prompting calls for united security actions.
