An Albia shop produced Sunday Bille for a large rodeo in Albia Kahé with plans set for Sunday June 6. The notice references ticket pricing at 15 dollars and 10 dollars and notes priests sharing duties for the event.
The column lists numerous visits and greetings in Beatrice and surrounding towns. D. Meyers of Fairbury, J Strayer of Atwood, H Bickett of Superior, and others stopped by relatives here. Memorial Day services drew many families from Omaha Lincoln and Kansas communities.
Church calendar notes list events at 10 A. M. 11 A. M. and 7:30 P. M. at the K of P hall detailing service times and venue.

Seniors of 27 entertained Miss Eleanor Cisena at her Hollenberg home for a seven o'clock dinner on Wednesday May 25. They presented Mr Casler with a gift, then attended the Bonham theatre and later visited Mr Casler at the Candy Kitchen.
A fine gentle rain falls this week and is welcomed as needed by the community. The soft shower brings relief and relief for crops and gardens as the region observes damp weather.
The American Legion in Steele City plans a major July 4th celebration with three color bills featuring a real rodeo and broncos ride, music, dancing, concessions on Main Street, a kiddie merry-go-round, fireworks at night, and free attractions aimed at entertaining visitors all day long.
Howard Kersting and Fern Lang, eldest son and daughter in law of Steele City and Endicott families, drove to Washington last Saturday to marry. Friends and the Press extend best wishes for a long, happy life.
The April and May gatherings were hosted by Mrs. A T Phelps with devotionals business and quilt block stitching. Refreshments in April were by Mrs Phelps and in May by Mrs Wilcox. The June meeting is set for June 8 at Mrs Deems home. Memorial day visit noted as Mrs Mercer from Grand Island came to visit relatives.
