Emiel Kenning son of Mr and Mrs Fred Kenning from five miles southwest of Steele City serves with Ambulance Company 354th Regiment 89th Division in France. He was wounded on November 5 1918 in the shoulder and ankle by shell fragments. Shoulder wound slight ankle wound serious. He writes that he remains in hospital but can move some with a crutch.
