Sunday evening C R Bracken returned from Modale Iowa after a telegram said his father David Bracken was very low. He died about an hour before his son arrived. David Bracken a Civil War veteran was long known here before moving to Iowa three years ago. A wife and five children survive.

Public Installation of K P Lodge Officers

Last Friday evening the K P lodge held a public installation in their hall with families and friends invited. F Bryant installed, J P Reynolds Grand Master At Arms. New officers include Chancellor Commander Wm Heckathorn and others. H B Rucker elected Grand Lodge delegate. Supper at Wright's hall followed and dancing after.
