George Peterson of Idaho formerly of Steele City has passed away at age 51, per a message received by his sister Mrs. Walt Witey. Mrs. F W Low and Mrs. R H Clapp visited Mrs. A V Taylor at Fairbury recently. Mrs. Taylor had been in the hospital for several months but is improving now.

Life of Joseph P. Wolf Traced Across States and Farms
Joseph P. Wolf born September 4 1855 in Milan Indiana moved across Indiana Kansas Missouri and Nebraska regions. He farmed in Highland township and later worked with J P Asche before years in Kansas City. He died January 14 1928 at age 72 after a long illness in Fairbury Nebraska. Funeral held in Steele City with Rev A C Rawls and a local quartet. Interment Liberty Cemetery.
