Knights of Pythias lodge members held a New Year observance last Thursday night. They enjoyed a covered dish supper at the hall, then remained to welcome 1926 before serenading the town on their way home.

Local Man Hurt as Stock Train Throws Him Against Stove
C A Land of five miles south of town was badly bruised with several broken ribs last week when the stock train he rode threw him against a stove. He was treated at Manhattan and Kansas City and is recovering at home. Land tended cattle to Kansas City with Chas Wells, Orville Hiner, and Roy Derrick aiding from Endicott, Hollenberg, and nearby areas. Railford Company provided a special train from Endicott.
