Silo Expert to Visit County on Next Wednesday
FE. R. Eudaly extension dairy specialist from A and M College will meet farmers at the City Auditorium in Stamford next Wednesday September 15 at 7 p m. The visit includes two meetings with Jones County farmers to discuss trench silos and related digging filling and feeding issues. A trench silo filling demonstration will be held at the C J Pace farm near Truby store at 2 p m with the trench already dug for demonstration.

J G Buster dies a month after wife in Abilene
J G Buster aged 71 of Abilene died suddenly of a heart attack last Saturday morning, less than a month after his wife died in Abilene on August 6. Survivors include two daughters Mrs C B Brockway of Yakima Washington and Mrs Russell of Stamford and two sons J O Buster of Abilene and A L Buster of Stamford. Burial was in Mount Hope cemetery Anson beside his wife.

Cordie Howard Pennell 42 of Fort Worth died in a Fort Worth hospital after midnight Monday. Funeral services were held at Kinney Funeral chapel with burial in Highland Cemetery. Pennell born May 2 1885, survived by widow Helen Nicee, daughter Marie Pennell, son Richard Pennell, and his parents, siblings, and in laws from Stamford and Freeport, Reckenridge, Atlanta, and California.
