Death of Sammie Lee Underwood at Lueders
Sammie Lee Underwood died at his home south of Lueders on September 3 1925 aged 60. Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Lueders Capties Church with Melvin By 1 pastor officiating. burial in Lueders cemetery. He was born March 1 1865 in Walker County and married Martha Ella Finewood in Georgia. He moved to Lueders about 1900 and farmed there. Survivors include his wife three sons a daughter ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren plus two sisters. Pallbearers named are Ted McCalster Clifford Taylor Z R Vickers Mickle Sook or More Morton and Jack Felts.
