Two-Story Armstrong House Destroyed By Fire
The two story residence of C. G. Armstrong near the High School on Vanderbilt Street was destroyed by fire at noon Monday. The origin is undetermined and no one was home. Firemen fought flames as the small water main failed to supply adequate pressure. new furniture valued at several thousand dollars was lost alongside the house. Insurance stood at 3000 on the house and 1000 on the furniture.
