Blufford W. Feris 56 assistant postmaster died at the Veterans Hospital in McKinney Sunday night after three weeks of treatment. Funeral Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Kinney Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles E. Fike. burial in Fairview cemetery near Tuxedo. Feris served Stamford post office since 1914 aside from WWI and WWII service. Survived by wife Leota Graham Feris, daughter Mrs A F Byrd, son Billie J, two grandchildren, three brothers M L of Dallas RK C and CM Feris of Houston. He was born June 20, 1894 in Wichita Falls.
