City Council halts pool opening for full renovation
The Stamford City Council voted to completely renovate the city swimming pool, scrapping plans to merely update the filtration system. About $65,000 in HUD funds will be used for a total renovation, with work expected to span most of the summer. The pool will remain closed for safety and sanitation until the project is finished.
