Stamford FFA Broiler Show and Sale Tuesday Morning
Thirty five pens of broilers will be shown at the first annual Future Farmers of America Broiler Show and Auction Sale in Stamford. The event begins with judging at 9 a.m. and sale starts at 10 o'clock. If weather permits the show and sale will be held on the vacant lot behind Huston Hardware. otherwise in the building east of Huston Hardware. Weldon Holbrooks announced. Only the top ten pens will be auctioned. the rest will be sold directly to buyers by contacting the boys. The Agriculture Committee of the Stamford Chamber of Commerce sponsors the event. The grain tested 60 pounds to the bushel with 14 and a half percent moisture and was bought by Cecil Eager of Eager Feed Mill once Thane presents his allotment card.
