Heavy rain across Stamford and surrounding areas totals over four inches in places, raising Lake Stamford by about three feet and adding billions of gallons. The downpour dented a Kimbell Milling elevator, damaged TV antennas, knocked out phone lines, and briefly knocked KDWT off air before restoration.
