Troop No. 40 of Stamford captured the sixth annual Jambo ree of the Chisolm Trail Area Council at Camp Tonkawa May 12 and 18 with 455 points, narrowly ahead of Troop 8 of Abilene. Troops 26 Tuscola and 3 Tuscola followed, as Troop 40's broad team effort and participation in all events secured the win.

Beer Election In Texas Set For August Twenty Sixth
Governor Miriam A. Ferguson signed measures to place a constitutional amendment vote on beer legalization for August 26. In Jones County for 1932 33 Oleta Jenkins Dovie 4 H Club took first place with a trip to the Annual Farmers Short Course. Neeta Tidwell Nevida 4 H Club was second and Bernice Savage Swan Chapel 4 H Club third. Five of eight demonstrators reported work completed with guidelines on cleaning storage space bath facilities and arranging room to study.
