Oman Youth Dominates Fat Stock Show in Houston

Girl Escapes Injury After Downtown Stamford Truck Incident
A 12 year old girl, Kathleen Anderson, narrowly avoided serious harm when struck near the northwest square in Stamford as a truck trailer moved past. She suffered only superficial bruises. Susie, a 6 pound daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Vardas, born February 29 at Stamford Hospital, becomes the hospital’s latest 29er joining a long local tally.
