Joneses Receive Degrees at Howard Payne College
Larry Jones and his wife Mrs. Jones received degrees at Howard Payne College in Brownwood on May 23. He earned a BA and she a BS in education. Larry is pastor of the Board Baptist Church in Comanche and will enter Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in July. Mrs. Jones is a teacher for the Venus School System, began teaching there June 3.

Burial Highland Cemetery. Born Hearne Texas July 26 1907, came to Stamford 1930. Survived by wife Lila Mae Davis Reed daughter Lenna Mae Williams Dallas a granddaughter great granddaughter brother Monse Abner Reed Sweetwater sister Velma Soles Amarillo.
