Hangar Project Wins Contract at Stamford Municipal Airfield
A contract for an 40 by 60 corrugated iron hangar to house four or five small planes will be let to Frank Rainer. The Stamford Chamber of Commerce aviation committee led by Roy Adedwe secured 335 dollars by subscription and the city council will cover the remaining balance of 800 dollars. The hangar, to be completed in about 10 days, will be operated by the chamber and feature a 50 foot wide door for plane entry.

Bobby Dean Smith a nine year old Stonewall county lad died at Stamford Sanitarium from a crushed head and injuries two hours after the car he rode in overturned into a ravine near Pleasant Valley. His brother J L Smith, 15, escaped injury. Funeral held at Double Mountain cemetery conducted by Rev E Smith. Survivors include mother and stepfather, two brothers and grandmother of Hagerman New Mexico.

Tables Turned Truck Driver Pays Damages After Collision
A cattle truck bound for Fort Worth collided with a Freight train of the Wichita Valley Railway near Anson. The railway claimed the driver and truck owner were negligent and sought damages under a bond to the Railroad Commission. The truck owner paid the railroad the claimed damages, ending the dispute.

Fire damages Lou Crump home and a car theft fire incident
