Paved Road Approved Into Lake Stamford Park
The Texas Highway Commission approved a 3.2 mile paved road from F M 600 south of Paint Creek Lake to Stamford Park as part of the 1967 farm to market program. Estimated cost is 99000 with right of way provided by the county. Road reduces survey status and will parallel a water pipeline to the Stamford filler plant. Also approved was a 4 mile farm road in Jones County costing 85000 from Anson southwest on F M 2746.
