The 27th Texas Cowboy Reunion closed with six championship saddles and honors. Mack Baggett Abilene won calf roping in 38.6 seconds, while Tommy Flenniken Floydada claimed the wild cow milking saddle. Horace Rankin Big Spring topped the roping challenge with a 13.55 second run. Poco Stampede owned by Mrs. G F Rhodes Abilene rode by Jack Newton earned the open cutting saddle. Charlotte Ann Rainey Coast al 7 Cattlemen's Association sponsor won the sixth saddle in barrel racing at 21 seconds. Cowboys and stock provided a strong showing as Gen Chas Bo Wes of Dyess Air Base presented saddles.

Eighteen Attend Junior GA Camp at Lueders Encampment
Eighteen from First Baptist Church join eighteen others at the Junior Girls Auxiliary Camp in Lueders Baptist Encampment this week. Mrs Hodges 73 died suddenly of a heart attack at her Eastland home after hospital treatment. Survived by husband, son John T.
