Fire destroys church in Lueders after January blaze
First Baptist Church of Lueders burned completely on the night of January 21. Firefighters from Lueders Stamford and Anson fought the two story stone and brick structure, valued at about 150000 dollars and insured for 80000. The congregation will worship at the Big Country Baptist Assembly while plans for rebuilding are considered.

License plate stickers go on sale Monday in Stamford
Stamford motorists begin annual vehicle registration with multi year plates for 1976. Stickers go on sale Monday and run through April 1, must be displayed by midnight that day. Obtain stickers at Bishop Electric Service, 218 W. McHarg, with Deputy Mrs. Enis Bishop handling county duties.

Mrs. Bishop notes motorists must bring computer cards for validation before stickers are issued. Registration fees remain unchanged. Each motorist will receive one sticker to place in the upper left corner of the rear license plate, stapled to an instruction card with four steps for proper application.
