Nazarenes to Dedicate New Building Sunday
The Church of the Nazarene in Stamford will dedicate its new brick veneer church on Ferguson Street at the corner of New Braunfels Sunday afternoon at 30 o clock with Rev. Raymond W. Hurn presiding and organizing the church. Rev. Russell Walborn led cottage prayer meetings after the building began and revival services run through next Sunday night led by evangelist Dan Perryman of Bossier City Louisiana. The church, reestablished after disbanding, has about 10 members with Sunday School averaging 11 to 12. the 50 by 50 foot building houses a 32 by 30 foot sanctuary four classrooms and an office on a half block purchased. The land and structure are valued at about 15 000.

Mrs Mary Stremmel 77 died Saturday night at Hamlin Hospital after a four day illness. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p m in Kinney Funeral Chapel with Rev Ernest Klug officiating. Four Stamford buildings may meet emergency fallout shelter standards after a survey by Abi lene engineering. To qualify a basement space for at least 50 people with 10 square feet per person is required, plus walls and roof blocking one twentieth of outside radiation.
