Oil Mill Seed House Destroyed in Stamford Blaze
A fire at the Stamford Oil Mill destroyed the smaller seed house west of Stamford, causing an estimated loss of 50 000 to 60 000 dollars. The blaze started in cleaning machinery and spread quickly, but protected the main plant and nearby structures. The mill plans to resume by early next week with a temporary cleaning room, new machinery, and a fireproof seed house to be built later.
