Anson Man Dies After Weekend Shooting
Albert A C Nelson, 39, of Anson died Sunday at Hendrick Memorial Hospital after a Saturday night shooting in the 400 block West Davenport. Jessie Lee Polk, 27, of Stamford, was charged with murder in 104th District Court and released on a $10 000 bond after the weekend incident. Nelson, born April 15 1936 in Anson, served in the U S Air Force and is survived by one brother and six children. Burial was at Anson Cemetery.
