Miss Wanda Greenhill is the new home demonstration agent for Haskell County succeeding Miss Thelma Wirges who moved to Wichita County. A Hale County assistant for over four years, she graduated from Texas State College for Women Denton and recently accompanied Texas 4H girls to the National Club Congress in Chicago. Her first week focused on organizing her office schedule for work with girls and women’s clubs in the county.

Sagerton Fire Claims Fourth Victim
The Has kell hospital reports Jennie Viola Flowers died at 1 30 a m Friday, the fourth victim of the November 27 fire that destroyed the family home. Her mother Shir ley Marie and sister Della Louise had died earlier, and J L Flowers Sr remains in serious condition. Johnnie Lee Flowers escaped injury and is with grandparents. Funds from local churches and merchants aid the family.

Stamford Graduate Dies Of Injuries In Accident Near Albany
Mike Hart 19, Stamford High School graduate, died at Shackelford County Memorial Hospital Albany from injuries after a highway collision six miles east of Albany. He was a North Texas State College student born in Albany and survived by his parents and grandparents. Funeral held at First Baptist Church Albany with burial in Albany cemetery.
