Local firm to mark 50th anniversary
High's Flowers of Stamford will celebrate 50 years with an open house on Sunday from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 502 S McKinley. The shop began in 1923 under Mrs Ona High and moved to its current Stamford location in 1924. The business is run in partnership by her sons James and Joseph.
