A Quarter Horse show at Wedeking Ranch Saturday benefits the West Texas Rehabilitation Center. Events start at 9 a.m. with youth and open divisions, class entry fees, and a jackpot from performance classes. Awards include a belt buckle for youth All-Around Champion and saddles for open winners. Proceeds support the Rehab Center.

Anson Open Horse Show Set for August 15
The Anson Open Horse Show is scheduled for Saturday August 15 at the Charles Myatt Arena with a five dollar entry for halter classes. Three age groups will compete in performance events including showmanship western pleasure reining barrels poles and flags. Ages 12 and under 13 18 and 19 and over with varying fees and belt buckles for high point winners. Jackpot barrel races begin at 6 p m with open and novice classes.
