Woodman Circle State Convention at Mineral Wells
Mrs. H P Moody attended the Texas Woodman Circle State Convention in Mineral Wells as delegate and a member of the National Drill Team. National officers present included Mrs H A Thomas as Mother of Texas Woodcraft, with Drilled events, medals won by Blue Bonnet San Antonio and others. The Texas membership reached 41 588, and a May 1930 dedication is planned in Sherman for the Woodman Circle home for aged members and orphans.

The Swenson School Literary Society held a Friday program at three o clock with nearly all members present. Oscar Rial led prayers and readings while Margaret Olson Claris Olson and others performed songs and debates. The event closed with a prayer by John Edward Youngquist as students announced a completed kitchen project and praised the cooking class pies.
