Tobacco Growers Urged to Deliver 1906 1907 Crops

A meeting of the Executive Committee on November 11 set pricing for 1907 tobacco by November 17 and sale to begin November 24. Growers are urged to send in all types immediately to ensure participation in opening sales. Large orders exist to absorb remaining 1906 crop and much of 1907. Tragic double filicide ends in suicide near Frankfort

In Thorn Hill suburb of Frankfort Kentucky Agnes Leitner killed her two children with a razor then cut her own throat from ear to ear. She threw the razor in the fireplace and collapsed in the room of her boarder. She died minutes later after a desperate plea for help. The family lived in a single room owned by William Long.

Tobacco deal to resume in Louisville this week

Daring Feat on College Street asieodpiep Hero

On Wednesday afternoon a buggy with Misses Nellie Robards Ann Bixler Susie Mitchell and Jennie Parish toppled when a front wheel dropped. The horse bolted down Main Street dragging the buggy until Albert Condra of Garden City Kansas halted it. The horse’s hind feet were badly cut and the ladies were uninjured.
