Mrs Eliza Platt Lewis Dies of Stomach Cancer at 60
Mrs. Eliza Platt Lewis, widow of Abraham C. Lewis, died early yesterday from stomach cancer after declining health. Born in Springfield Kentucky, she lived at 1018 Brook Street and was active in church and charitable work. Survived by four children Edith Viola Lewis Leon Patterson and Adrian Platt Lewis. Funeral held at her residence and interment at Cave Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Katie Lanham, wife of Scott Lanham, died Oct 27 at her father in law J. Lanham's home. Daughter of W. F. Mann she was sixteen and recently married. Death followed a relapse from typhoid fever.
