The bride is the eldest Royalty daughter, famed locally for her many friends, and the groom a popular young farmer in the county.

Best stock included fifty three cattle averaging 1000 pounds selling at 4.20 per hundred pounds. dissolution sale of Gibbs & Thomas drew a large crowd and the personal property sold well. A small Bardstown crowd and little stock Monday for county court day.

Mrs. Lucreta C. Shuck, possibly Marion county's oldest resident, died at 3 a.m. Monday at her daughter Minnie McAfee's home in Lebanon. A 97-year-old widow of Hon. John Shuck, she was born Finley in Franklin Kentucky and spent life in Lebanon. Funeral by Dr. A S Moffett followed by interment at Ryder cemetery. Survived by sons Joseph and Pinley Shuck and daughters Octavia Harrison, James Corley, and Minnie McAfee.
