Burley Society Sells Four Million Pounds of Tobacco

In Lexington, June, the American Tobacco Company and Burley Tobacco Society agreed to purchase 4,000,000 pounds of pooled tobacco from the 1906 crop at the society’s fixed price. Speculators Buy 1908 Corn Crop Ahead in Central Kentucky

Valentine Nebraska May 31 Thomas F Ryan allegedly gave twenty thousand dollars to the Nebraska campaign fund four years ago. Bryan told the Associated Press he will read the charge and refund the money if Ryan contributed to the fund directly or indirectly.
