A ten year old boy, son of Mr Arbur Bottom near Mackville, was kicked on the head by a horse last Saturday. He suffered a fractured skull and life was despaired of. Dr McChord of Lebanon with Drs Hyatt and Barnett conducted an operation Sunday afternoon removing a two inch skull fragment. The child is now improving with recovery possible.

Mrs. Lee Willett died at her home near Fredericktown last Saturday from tuberculosis after several weeks illness.
