Hodgenville Kentucky May 31 ten thousand people gathered as the Weinmann statue of Abraham Lincoln was unveiled in front of the LaRue County courthouse. Mrs Ben Hardin Helm drew the ceremonial cord while Robert Lincoln son of the president attended and Henry Watterson gave a tribute. The LincolnFarm area is being prepared as a park with Memorial Hall rising, and the Lincoln spring drew many visitors. The Monument Commission accepted the statue and Hodgenville prepares for a November 4 dedication amid community fund raising.
