Rockford Simms Dead In Louisville After Illness
Rockford Simms son of Thomas L. Simms of Louisville died at his home after a brief illness. He was brother to Sr. Clara Simms of Spaling Nebraska and Mrs. K L Clements of Washington county. He grew up in Washington county and moved to Louisville six years ago with his parents. He married Ella Haydon on October 17, 1905, and is survived by his wife and a three month old child. The Sun and many friends extend condolences to the family.

Robert Mitchell Dead in Mackville at 85
Robt. Mitchell, a Black longtime Mackville resident, died at his home on Monday February 11 from old age. Born May 7, 1885, he belonged to Daniel W. Mitchell’s family during slavery. He had lived in Mackville for fifty years and was viewed as honest and upright with many white friends.
