Brokenhead Council held its September 10 session with Reeve A. McLeod and councillors Mastaler, Storsley, Strecker, and Trojanowski in attendance. McLeod named delegate to secure authorization for a 20 000 over-expenditure for 1946 drainage, with over-expenditure levied as directed by the Municipal Commissioner. Ted Weselak of Tyndall granted a pool room license. Half of the 1946 tax levy on the Ruthenian Hist at Tyndall to be cancelled as the building serves community functions. The Department of Public Works to survey the drain through 5-13-7E.
Helen Mysak and Wilma Crawford toured Winnipeg September 9 to 13 with Extension Service at Fort Garry. They visited Legislative Buildings, a packing plant, a biscuit factory, and two radio stations, plus shows and a banquet. A canoe party, scavenger hunt, and sing song followed, ending with a bonfire.
