Whitemouth marks its events with anniversaries birthdays and engagements among locals. The Smart family celebrates a third wedding anniversary for Helen and Rosie on September 27 at Portage La Prairie while Shirley Carlson hits her birthday on September 17. The Anglican church service on September 13 precedes a guest sermon on October 11 by Rev. Boyd. The Whitemouth Hospital Guild plans an Oct. 3 supper and the Lutheran Ladies Aid a Oct. 24 fowl supper. A birth is noted at Whitemouth hospital and Elsie Engelers return from vacations.

Brokenhead junior room students and teacher Miss Lupchinsky spent Friday by the river for a corn roast despite rain and reported a splendid afternoon. Road south of Holy Trinity Greek Catholic church raised and gravelled. road west of church to be improved. Miss Ethel Kindefora and Ralph Tromba at Manitoba Normal School in Winnipeg. Several district social visits noted at homes of Boleschuk, Mroz, Krawchuk, Mroz, Molinski, and others. Deepest sympathies extended to Pasaluko family Glenmoor on Father Peter Pasaluko’s passing.
