Lac du Bonnet to Study Village Sewer and Water

The Lac du Bonnet village committee hired engineer J C D Taylor to conduct a $100 preliminary survey on sewer and water feasibility. The study will assess capital expense and operating costs for a potential village system, guiding next steps and community decision making.

Social notes from Winnipeg and Montreal visits

Mr Mayotte and others left for Montreal on Tuesday while Jack Kearns of Winnipeg returned to resume work at the power plant. Mrs Esther Nas trom Lac du Bonnet and Miss Alice Nastrom of Chicago visited Mr and Mrs J E Peterson on Tuesday. Seven Sisters Falls Social Revue Features Winnipeg Visitors

Winnipeg Electric staff from Winnipeg visited Seven Sisters last weekend including Edith Killey Dorothy Whitely Agnes Scott. Mrs B Bjarnson travelled from Toronto via Winnipeg and visited the Oddleifsons. Beausejour guests Mrs Mitchell and Mrs Harpes visited the Ambroses. Sophie Harris Edna Ans toured Winnipeg briefly. J Raines, recently discharged from the RCAF, visited his parents. Marjorie Allan Hudson and H Hudson attended from Winnipeg. Creghan Archibald contractors were in town for business with H Ligertwood accompanying Creghan to Winnipeg. Mrs T Mayotte and children spent the summer here.
