Legion Builds Memorial Centre Plan At Lac du Bonnet
At the Lac du Bonnet Legion monthly meeting auditors were appointed to check the Building Fund balances so the amount can be turned over to the Memorial Centre General Fund. It is hoped weather and materials allow an immediate start on hall improvements and the Legion's new home. The next meeting is November 13 for election of officers.

James Gibson Elected to Head Great Falls Recreation Club
The Great Falls Recreation Club held its annual meeting on October 7. James Gibson was elected president with George Cobb as vice president and Mark Reid re-elected secretary-treasurer. A nominating committee was named and committees for badminton and rink activities listed. A motion limited badminton to a single weekly night in addition to Sundays, and hall supervision and bulletin boards rules were approved. Gibson thanked retiring president Roy McHaffie for his years of service.
