Winnipeg visitors included Mr. and Mrs. Norman Oliver and Brian with Mr. and Mrs. John Boleschuk, and Mr. and Mrs. D. Smith. Mr. and Mrs. J. Mroz hosted Mr. and Mrs. P. Pazuk of Cook's Creek, while weekend guests at the Krawchuks' home included Mrs. T. Bullock of Portage la Prairie. The Brokenhead School Board installed five bicycle racks to ease parking for students.
Visitors from Golden Bay Winnipeg and East St Paul visited numerous households including Mr. and Mrs. Hintz and family Mr. and Mrs. Buss Mr. and Mrs. Tober Olga and Alfred Hintz of Winnipeg Mr. and Mrs. Slotta Mr. and Mrs. Kazmerski Mr. and Mrs. Kindefora Mr. and Mrs. Kutchy and Mrs. Krawchuk Winnipeg East St. Paul Pine Falls and Pine Falls were noted. Joe Trombo and his wife celebrated their sixteenth anniversary on November 11 with Sunday visitors at the Pasenick residence.
Sympathy is extended to Mrs. J Boby on the death of her husband Mr. Boby a longtime machinist at Seven Sisters and worker at the W E plant in Great Falls Funeral services were held Monday November 2 at Mordue Funeral Home Friends traveled from Winnipeg to attend the funeral Mrs Watson of Winnipeg visits with her daughter and son in law Mr and Mrs H Hudson during the stay
Nov 5 accident in Van couver claimed Johnny Wasylenko life as he was run over by a lumber carrier at a mill. He was born and educated in the Upper Seven Sisters and is survived by his parents, five sisters and two brothers. Funeral planned Nov 16 at 2:30 at North Lutheran Church Russell Funeral Home assisting. Community offers condolences to the Wasylenko family.
A new residence is under construction in the district, owned by Mike Chaluk. Rumors suggest he may soon appoint a housekeeper to manage the property.
