Kosygin Visits Canada Ended on Mixed Notes
Kosygin returned to the Soviet Union after a largely smooth Canada visit marked by public performances and careful diplomacy. Notable incidents included a Toronto speech and an Ottawa assault by a Hungarian refugee. Ottawa press conference drew global attention.
