Anthony Man reports from Springfield on the May 31 to June 2 budget vote. The House and Senate approved a 22.8 billion general fund with 277.5 million more spending than Gov. The budget was declared balanced by some members but balanced only by definition per ongoing political statements. Durkin campaigned with McCain during a special session.
