Roberts signs with Tennessee Martin softball program
Laura Roberts of Johnston City signed with the University of Tennessee Martin to play softball. The Lady Indians, led by Roberts, reached the Johnston City Super-sectional final before losing 3-1 to Vienna. Roberts batted .519 with 44 RBIs, 16 doubles, 2 homers, and scored 41 runs this season. She praised her team's 100 plus wins and said Division I play was a goal hard earned.
